Reunion with a Old Friend

Yesterday I met up with a friend I had met so many years ago. It felt a little awkward since it has been awhile since we contacted one another. I tried to tell him about all the projects, updates, and products we were working on as a group. By a group I mean myself at this point. I told him how the future was looking better since the members have been contributing their share now instead of all the creative work being on my shoulders alone. I drank my Pepsi and my friend Jason his water. The rotating fan kept us thirsty...

I showed Jason the green book. With no surprise he noticed I have written tons and tons of stuff. I was thinking to myself I wonder what he knows. So I let Jason start to read the green book so that he could be updated with the rest of the team. After talking awhile I then thought to myself and realized that it wasn’t just an update of what has been happening, it was me actually missing my friend who I haven't talk to in so long. I was thinking, okay, who thinks like that? I guess I do? weird... and I sipped my Pepsi.

I waited on the floor killing time while he read the Green Book. Understanding that it was necessarey for Jason to get updated as soon as possible I tried to entertain myself. I turned on the XBOX360 and popped in my favorite fighter, Super Street Fighter 4. I wondered why I had started to miss my friends... that sort of thing always happens. I guess it could be that one of my closest friends have recently passed away... I looked at my Cthulu doll which hangs at my window. I guess people pass and you can't help but miss them. I wish i could just dump these dumb feelings of mine.

We parted ways after he read the Green Book and we promised to talk to each other the upcoming week. I look forward to seeing how we work on our projects as the due date slowly approaches.
