Battletech TCG

What is Battletech TCG?

In the Battletech Universe you play the role of a commander. You are a strategist who fights other armies for money, some for glory, and some battle under the banner of kerensky. Your deck of cards represents the options you have at your disposal. It will contain battle mechs, vehicles, and a array of missions and commands which may assist you in your battle.

Trading card games combine the idea of card collecting with strategy game. Each boost pack contains random commons, uncommons, and rares. You can start a collection and trade with others for cards you want, or you can just pay a little extra for singles. Battletech releases expansions a few times a year. Each new expansion brings new, old, and revised ways to destroy your foes.

Why do people play Battletech TCG?

People play Battletech for many different reasons. The thrill of battle, the creative process of making your own theme decks, mind raking combos which not many others are using, or just the competitive or cooperative nature of the game mechanics. To some Battletech is all about collecting the factions and their most rare of cards, but the artwork and game play is where the real fun lays.

Go down to your local game lounge, cafe, or store. Bring some friends and buy a preconstructed theme deck and a few boosters. Trade for what you want and customize your deck to your playing style. When was the original Battletech TCG created? In 1996 Wizards of the Coast developed a game based around the Battletech universe. It was a collectible card game which featured characters, technology, mechs, and story quotes from the original board game with artwork done but a variety of artists. with new artwork done by various artists.

Around 2001 the game ended its production because of the lack of players. Many people had discussed that the main cause for their lost of interest in the game was the overly simplistic design of victory. A project in 2007 started in the development by a independent design team which tried to work out the kinks of the old card game and kick it into high gear. A number of changes have been made to Battletech TCG to make it to players expectations.
